Safety of a Bio-Well Scan
While Bio-Well energy scans are non-invasive and generally safe, there are a few important contraindications and precautions to consider. The Bio-Well device uses low-intensity electrical stimulation to assess the energy field, which may not be suitable for everyone.
Who Should Avoid Bio-Well Scans:

1. Individuals with Pacemakers or Implanted Electronic Devices. People who use pacemakers, defibrillators, or other implanted medical electronics should not undergo a Bio-Well scan. The mild electrical current used in the scanning process may interfere with these devices.
2. During Pregnancy (First Trimester Recommended Precaution)
Although there is no evidence of harm, it is generally advised that pregnant women—especially in the first trimester—consult with a healthcare provider before having a Bio-Well scan, as a precautionary measure.
3. People with Severe Mental Health ConditionsBio-Well scans can reflect emotional and energetic imbalances, which may be misinterpreted or emotionally unsettling for individuals experiencing acute psychological distress, including psychosis or severe anxiety. Guidance from a licensed mental health professional is recommended in such cases.
4. After Alcohol or Substance UseScans should not be performed if the individual is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, as these substances distort the energy field, leading to inaccurate or misleading results.
5. Direct Skin Conditions on the Fingertips
Open wounds, skin irritations, or conditions such as eczema or psoriasis on the fingertips can affect the accuracy of the scan. Wait until the area has healed before proceeding.
General Precautions:
-
Avoid eating a heavy meal or engaging in intense physical activity immediately before the scan.
-
Remove metal rings or jewelry from hands before the session.
-
Maintain a calm state for best results—avoid scanning in high-stress moments.
Important Reminder
Bio-Well is a wellness tool and not a medical diagnostic device. It should be used as a complementary method to support energy awareness, not as a replacement for medical evaluation or treatment.
